Let Us Learn Malay
Note: This may be my most bizarre post yet

Let us learn the malay language by translating the popular malay song (circa 1998) Fantasia Bulan Madu by Search into english. The dude above is Amy of Search. He sang this song.
In fact I will be translating the words literally! Let us have a laugh. Obviously the meaning of the song gets lost in translation!
This may be hard to believe, but in the Malay language, it’s actually very poetic. The symbolism only makes sense in Malay though.
Malay is a lot like Japanese - the subject comes before the predicate as opposed to the other way round in English. So ‘book shop’ becomes ’shop book’.
