The Phone, I Buy
Today during lunchtime, SD drove me and Mandrake to Sim Lim Tower because I wanted to buy a handphone for my brother’s bday.
The handphone shops at Sim Lim Tower sell cheaper phones without having to signup for a contract. They also have export sets (which have no warranties and have boxes covered in taiwanese or japanese).

My brother initially asked for the Nokia 3200. I thought it was bloody ugly. 2 digits share one button. You can slip in papers to change the skin. The plus was it had a good camera.
One fun part about shopping with the tribe are the remarks they make while you’re trying to make a decision.
He’s such a fussy bitch
My remarks dont count shit because you’re the one making the decision
bitch bitch f87ing bitch
Just choose one, any one!
I love the tribe. Of course, when they are shopping I behave the same way. Quid pro quo.

So anyway, I ended up buying the Nokia 6220i which has a camera, radio, java and is 50 bucks more then the one my brother wanted. I do not like buying ugly things.
Update:
If I could afford another phone right now, I’d probably get the Motorola MPX200 because it has Windows Mobile inside. I really need something to synch my calendars and todo lists. My life is a mess. If I get this, I can throw away my pda and just use my phone.
