Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen
Today the tribe sans AngryBeaver went for lunch at Amoy Street. Actually we were walking towards Far East Square via Amoy Street when I spotted a spanking new Thai restaurant (so new they didnt even have a signboard). Mandrake decided to take a look and we ended up having lunch there.
The food was excellent. Could be the best thai food we’ve had so far.
How’s your food?
Fucking awesome! How’s your food?
Incredible, I think I’m bringing some friends here next week!
I had the Basil rice, Mandrake ordered green curry and SD had the olive rice. For side dishes we ordered chicken wings, fish cakes and the restaurant threw in free deserts which consisted of some strange sugary cake coated in cream wrapped in a banana leaf. Definitely prepared by genuine Thai chefs.
All through out the meal we were going
ahhhh…
oh yessss…
mmmhhh right there…
So we walked away very very satisfied. The damage came to about $29.10. Being big spenders, we decided to tip them an entire 90 cents!
