Depressing Moments

Tomorrow I have to go look for a new place to live. It’s about the most depressing thing I can think of doing at the moment. I’ll have to comb through the papers and drag my ass to the location.

Sigh… today is really a rotten day. Work is becoming a huge burden on my shoulders. I really need a holiday.

Things that suck when you live alone

1. You know it’s not really your place. You’re just there temporarily
2. You know there’s nobody waiting for you at home.
3. Rent
4. Utlity bills
5. The fucking silence of it all

You’re not alone dude. I’m hunting for a room too. And it’ll be the 4 walls and me every nite.

The best part is, I’m not allowed to buy my own place in Singapore - that is unless I buy a 700k private property. Gov housing is off-limits to me.

just try to see it as temporary. life will not remain this bad. anyway, i dont belong anywhere either.

hmm, you are not allowed to buy ? Well I like the nomad lifestyle, and never minded living alone (and later with my room mate L) either. Har har, marry to get house+car+whole deal ? Nothing I ever heard of…

In singapore, only registered married couples are allowed to purchase homes. Or you have to buy one with a relative. Since I am neither married nor have any relatives here - I’m doomed to rent.
