Nicoll Highway Caves In

Was driving just now when I heard on the radio that a section of the Nicoll Highway had fucking caved in. Apparently this wasn’t a terrorist attack, but rather something to do with the new MRT Circle Line. One indian malaysian man has died and 3 others are in hospital.

The contractor and the project manager from LTA (Land Transport Authority) are so fucking screwed. If I were them, I’d be scrambling for those Australian emigration papers. They are going to be crucified.

I tot HULK went underground again…

Welcome all dodgy contractor to Oz, we love it hear. We already have plenty crappy roads and traffic, so their work will be dearly appreciated =)

I drive along Nicoll Highway every morning to work. Another interesting fact, Angry Beaver and I were just a stone’s throw away from the site having lunch at around 2plus. If we had stayed around longer and I had used the same road to send him back to the office..who knows..we’d be in the news today… :O
